Structural Engineering

Structural engineering is central to 7Waves’ offshore delivery capability. We provide structural design and analysis for floating and fixed assets, including FPSOs, semi-submersibles, offshore fish farms, and floating wind concepts. Our work covers concept support through detailed verification.

Using tools such as the DNV Sesam suite and complementary finite element workflows, we evaluate global and local structural response under operational and extreme loading. Typical scopes include load path assessment, stress and utilisation checks, fatigue analysis, and ultimate limit state verification.

Our deliverables are developed to meet classification and regulatory expectations, with clear documentation and engineering rationale that supports efficient design review and approval processes.
